Trivia[]
- The episode title is taken from Neil Armstrong's famous quote from the Apollo 11 moon landing: "That's one small step for a man and one giant leap for mankind".
- Filmed during the October 1, 2015 Giants/Dodgers game, where it was "Full House night", with Jesse Frederick singing the national anthem, Jeff Franklin throwing out the ceremonial first pitch, and Jodie Sweetin leading the 7th-inning stretch for real.[1] (also, to promote the event, the Giants made a promo video which mimics the season four opening credits from the original series).[2]
- Hunter Pence did not actually play in the October 1 game against the Dodgers, due to suffering a season-ending left oblique strain.
- Stephanie and Kimmy snooping in on Steve and D.J.'s kiss was similar to that of "The Prying Game" (Full House).
- Hunter's former Phillies teammates Jimmy Rollins & Chase Utley are named in the lineup for the Dodgers in this episode but don't physically appear.
- In real life Hunter was dating his then fiancée now wife Alexis Cozombolidis Pence at the time the episode was being filmed who he later proposed to her on December 3, 2015.
