On the Road Again is episode seven of season eight on Full House. It originally aired on November 8, 1994.

Summary

Now that his new band, Hot Daddy and the Monkey Puppets, is officially under-way, Jesse invites Becky and the twins to accompany him on a trip for their very first weekend gig. They bunk in a hotel that Jesse used to stay at years ago, when he was younger, but now that he is an adult with a family of his own, will the youthful memories have the same effect?

Meanwhile, major sparks fly between D.J. and Viper, one of Jesse's grungy young band members, and when Danny expresses his discomfort about them being together, D.J. ends up making a very uncharacteristic decision.

Trivia

  • The episode was mostly shut out by Election Day news when it first aired
  • Jesse references the TV show Matlock (1986–1995), a legal drama starring Andy Griffith as the title character
  • The episode title is taken from the 1980 Willie Nelson song of the same name

Quotes

(Becky puts a quarter in the TV and the bed starts vibrating)
Becky: If a slot in the TV turns the bed on...(she puts a quarter in the slot on the bed and hears the toilet flush) That's a good thing to know.
Joey: Anyone got change for a twenty?

Jesse: Oh my God. I'm starting to sound like my father.
Becky: Actually, you're more like my mother.
Jesse: Oh, yeah, right. Like I make dry pot roast and talk back to Matlock.
Becky: Do you think my mother was happy when I started dating you?
Jesse: Uh-huh.
Becky: No! I had to show her there was more to you than long hair and a Harley.
D.J.: Yeah, there's more to Viper too.
Kimmy: Yeah. Have you seen him in tight jeans?
